it was our first time in Turks and Caicos and will not be the last. From start to finish our experience was nothing short of amazing. Katherine and her staff answered all our questions right away. Offered us places to visit and eat. The Villa was amazing. They had recently updated the house. Beds were so comfy. The villa was so clean. A/C worked great. The screened in porch was a great place to relax and still enjoy the warm weather. The pool was so clean. The villa was a great location. Beach access was close. Just walked across the street and down a path and you were there. It was a 5 mins drive into town.
We will be back for sure and will stay here again for sure. You will not be disappointed at all!!!!

If I could rate my experience higher than five stars with sweet escape villas, I would. Katherine, the property manager went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable in the villa and gave us ideas on what to do and eat seeing as it was our first time on the island. Villa Gabriella was the perfect location just minutes away from some beautiful beaches and restaurants. I'm looking forward to our next stay with sweet escape villas.

Katherine is a wonderful host. Always working to make things easier. When our flight was rescheduled and came in late, she was in constant contact with us to reassure all was ok. She helped us with her contacts on Provo. Will be back!

We just returned from our vacation and had an INCREDIBLE time at Sweet Escape! The property is impeccably well kept and well appointed with all the amenities you can think of along with thoughtful extra touches. Katherine was so helpful providing tons of recommendations about beaches, restaurants, spas and must see local spots, she is very knowledgeable about the island. We had so much fun touring around in the vehicle that is provided with the villa and many of the main beaches and restaurants are just a few minutes away. I would highly recommend Katherine’s property and the Turks and Caicos island for vacation!

Sweet Escape is a slice of paradise. Located minutes away from Grace Bay Beach (#1 beach in the world) and has all of the amenities you need for a stay of any length. Katherine is the best host and responds quickly to all questions. She even has great advice on the best places to go, see, and eat. The villa itself is clean and beautiful with a very relaxing vibe and tropical decor. Highly recommend renting a vehicle from Katherine as it makes exploring the island easy and fun. Paddle boards and kayaks are also a nice touch!

Our family vacation w Katherine at Sweet Escape Villa with the rental car was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by a very nice, professional driver (arranged by Katherine) to the moment that same driver dropped us back at the airport a week later, our time on the island was perfection. Katherine met us at the villa with rum punch cocktails and spent a great deal of her time going over a map with us, pointing out beaches, restaurants and places on the island that we might want to see. She arranged a lovely boat day for us where we enjoyed snorkeling and sightseeing with a fabulous local captain. The villa was wonderful and we took full advantage of all the bells and whistles it offered. We stayed in an all-inclusive beachfront hotel on our last visit to TCI and we much preferred our stay at the villa. I can confidently say that because of Katherine, our family enjoyed a week we will never forget!

Having stayed at Beaches and a few other VRBO/AirBnB properties in Grace Bay and having driven around the island quite a bit after tiring of the main tourist area of Grace Bay, I discovered the wonderful centrally located Discovery Bay. A beautiful, safe residential neighbourhood with canals all a short SUP ride from the Southern beaches and Turtle Lake and minutes in a car to Grace Bay and Long Bay to the North and East, Chalk Sound and Sapodilla to the West. A very short distance to anywhere you’ll want to visit. Then I found the Sweet Escape Villas and booked myself a stay.

Katherine is an amazing communicator, you’ll not need to do any thinking, she has all the information you could possibly need to stay and not miss out on anything in Provo, along with super Josie who is there to guide you from the moment you exit the airport and settle you into your beautiful waterfront villa. I’ve now stayed at every single one of the Sweet Escape Villas. Once I’d stayed with Katherine I’ve never looked elsewhere! The properties are spacious both inside and out, with waterfront and lovely gardens. Inside the villas there is absolutely everything you’ll need. Fully equipped kitchens, including condiments etc, super comfy beds with crisp sheets, fluffy bath and beach towels, the list goes on….. the houses are so beautifully decorated but without the clinical, homogeneous nature of the hotels here (nor the eye watering cost)!

Sunset Villa sits in a huge garden with your own dock, where you can watch the humming birds, get to know the fish and turtles in the lagoon like water, go for a dip or head out in a canoe to explore or get to the stunning Southern shore line and its crystal clear turquoise waters.

The bedrooms are lovely, the bigger one looking on to the front garden, the slightly smaller one with French Doors opens out to the deck and then to the garden and water. Both with their own en-suite. The living room is gorgeous for when you want to be inside. The kitchen is sleek and modern and has a dining area or you can sit up at the island.

We were in heaven barbecuing on the deck in the evenings. Sometimes we were treated to incredible light shows as lightening on the Caicos Banks banks made its nightly journey from West to East - no need to switch the TV on - the view and ambiance is mesmerising. It really is a slice of paradise here, you’ll want for nothing and have the most fabulous vacation. Our only problem is it’s created an addiction! We keep coming back. And back. And back….. Thank you Sweet Escape, you’re an absolute find!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Sweet Escape Villa many times with 4 to 8 people. I have also stayed in the Guest Cottage when I was there with my girlfriend only. This property is the perfect place to call home while exploring the TCI. It is on the waterfront with a dockside patio. There is a water trampoline to swim to and a ladder for easy access. There are Ocean Kayaks and Paddleboards included. It is so relaxing to go down the canal in the Kayak and explore Turtle Lake or go down to South Side Marina and Cooper Jack Bay Beach and explore the coastline. Then get out and enjoy the beautiful turquoise ocean with no one around. It truly is the most beautiful place. You can also rent the Jeep or Santa Fe and put the Kayaks on top. The Santa Fe has a Thule Roof Rack so you can transport two kayaks and they each seat 2 people. Drive to Leeward and launch the kayak and cross over to Iguana Island and go right along the coast to Halfmoon Bay and the mangroves are everywhere. Do you own eco tour and have an amazing day exploring the ocean. You can stop on any of the amazing beaches, secluded cays and if you want to be around people you can go where the excursion boats are and meet people. There is also a Tiki Bar you can tie up next to and have a cocktail. Then come home and light up the Weber Grill and have a nice bbq for dinner or go out to one of the many amazing restaurants nearby. Sharkbite Baci Mango Reef Restaurants are all in Turtle Cove Marina is only a 2 minute drive. We also love snorkelling out front of Coral Gardens Resort because there is a great beach bar called "SOMEWHERE" and we love the fish tacos plus the staff are great. This is on Grace Bay Beach and only 4 minutes from Sweet Escape Villa. There is a public washroom and outdoor shower. You can enjoy snorkelling, walk along the beach to the Wymara and West Bay Club or Beaches TCi and the Windsong. Then if you need to pick something up at the IGA Grocery store or the Wine Cellar on your back to the Villa it is very conveniently located only 2 roundabouts from Sweet Escape. Sweet Escape has a gated entry and Katherine the owner provides a custom guide book sharing detailed driving directions to dozens of her families favorite beach stops and places to spend the day or afternoon all over the island. We have been to all of them now and quickly learned our way around and always have the best vacation thanks to her. If we need anything at all or have a question she is quick to respond. The Barbarra Rum Punch served at Check IN is a delicious. Also, they provided a couple local Turks Head Beer to sample which was a very nice touch. You can go to the brewery for a tour. We also learned that Bambarra is the local rum of choice and Katherine shared the recipe for her rum punch. Her assistant Josie is amazing. We hired her to cook a traditional Jerk Chicken Dinner with Caribbean Peas n Rice and a side one evening. So while we were out exploring she cooked everything at her house and delivered it to the Villa at the perfect temperature so we got home at 5pm and sat down to a delicious caribbean meal for $50 plus the cost of food. We enjoyed meeting all the local people and try to visit Turks and Caicos twice a year and we always stay at Sweet Escape because the Villa is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the livingroom furniture is super comfortable and we feel like we have everything we would have at home and more. Smart TV, Wifi, great kitchen and the screened in wrap around porch is a great place to play cards, read a book, have a glass of wine and socialize with your spouse, freinds or family. In the morning, the sun rises on the east side of the deck. It is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or smoothing. There is a canopy of palm trees and beagonvalia with the blue sky and green trees and flowers the sunrise is so beautiful. Katherine also manages are few other villa's. My husband and I had another wonderful time at Sweet Escape Villa from November 12th to 19th of this year. This was our 3rd stay in what we have come to feel is our "home away from home".  Now we just need to figure out a way to make it permanent lol.
Katherine's villa is beautiful: spacious, clean and bright and is equipped with everything needed to enjoy your Caribbean holiday.  Just unpack your bathing suit, shorts and tee's, hop into the Jeep or SUV rental (provided through Katherine) and go to one of the many beach locations highlighted in her binder of information she leaves for guests.
Every morning saw us enjoying fresh brewed coffee, maybe having a few eggs and toast for breakfast, packing up the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler provided and heading out to enjoy the sun and sand. The driving is on the left hand side of the road, and can be a bit of an adjustment but we caught on quickly. The residents of Provo were very patient as well lol if we didn't understand protocol with roundabouts initially.
There are many beautiful restaurants to enjoy and they cater to all different tastes and budgets. Our favorites for lunch were Ricky's Flamingo Cafe and Las Brisas out by Taylor Bay Beach.  Both have very relaxed atmospheres, friendly staff and great conch salad! Cocovan and Coco Bistro are great dinner spots.  Dining out can be expensive, so a few nights we would enjoy a nice BBQ'd steak or chicken on the screened-in porch with a nice bottle of wine and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the evening.

Before I sign off, I have to say that Jocelyn is there on the island to answer any questions or concerns you may have and if there is anything lacking or in need of a fix, she is there in a heartbeat.
Katherine is also a text or phone-call away if we ever needed her. She was wonderful in setting up our driver to bring us to and from the airport, so there was no need to try and figure that out.
I recommend Sweet Escape Villa wholeheartedly and cannot wait to go back!

We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Captain JD today! He was every bit as fantastic as described by you and other guests in the reviews for Sweet Escape…and more! Both of our boys volunteered at different times that this was quote “the best day of my life!” and “better than Disneyworld!”  We hit so many highlights: conch diving, lobsters, swimming and snorkeling with dolphins. We also saw a sea turtle, a shark, stingrays and we real sand dollars on the bottom of the ocean!!! It was truly incredible. JD spoke very highly of you as well.

Amazing!...For those who have ever wanted a place of their own for just a week or two, or even longer...This is it. We love being able to visit all the different beaches available and then trying out new fantastic restaurants, bars and different nightlife resort spots, while returning each evening to the comfort of our own property we can call home. Having the option to relax in comfort and privacy, while planning our next adventure is truly a "SWEET" Escape...

I have been travelling to Turks & Caicos for about 22 years now. Since 2008, I have been staying at Sweet Escape Villa & Guest Cottage. It is the perfect place to call home while visiting the island. The property is beautiful and we love being on the water with a dock, so we can swim, snorkel, kayak and paddleboard right from our very own private dock. The homes along the canal are very nice and the water is clear blue ocean. You can see the sandy bottom. There is a 3 foot tide every 6 hours so it keeps the water flowing in and out,. There is a cool salt water lake part way down the canal called Turtle Lake and you can kayak to Bob's Bar and Grill in the South Side Marina. There is a beautiful beach call Cooper Jack Bay Beach as well as the Wymara Villa's are built into the hill at South Side Marina. The Villa is very well appointed and the Kitchen and Great Room has a white Caribbean Wood Beam Ceiling with very comfortable furniture and 2 large sofa's and a chaise lounge. There is a dining for 8 on the screened in porch overlooking the canal, palm trees and a nice breeze blows through. The Master has a very comfortable King Size Bed and the 2nd Bedroom a very comfortable Queen Size Bed. The Bathrooms both have Kohler fixtures and its nice to have a tub in the master for a bubble bath after scuba diving. There is alot to do on the island and Sweet Escape is conveniently located to everything. We love scuba diving, snorkelling and everything to do with watersports as well as golfing and tennis. I highly recommend renting the Triton Centre Console Boat or the Pontoon Boat for 2 days in the middle of your stay. We have gone out with all the captains. We usually hire a Captain on Day 1 and then take the boat out ourselves on Day 2. It is nice that they let us do that. We have been boating all our lives and it took a while to get used to boating in the TCI so I recommend a Captain and to you feel comfortable. The Pontoon Boat is easier. Iguana Island is the first Cay east of Provo and then there are a series of secluded beaches running east along Pine Cay, Dellis Cay, Ft George Cay all the way to Parrot Cay where Bruce Willis and Demi Moore built a house on the Beach. On the south side of Little Water Cay and Iguana Island you will find hidden gem called half moon bay.. This is also a great place to kayak too and all the mangroves run through here. It is fun to explore at your own pace with the Kayaks Katherine provides at Sweet Escape. We always rent either the Jeep, Santa Fe or Honda as they have Kayak Racks on top and then we can take the Kayaks or Paddleboards to the beach or mangroves. Its great exercide and helps you stay cool and we like to stay active. They also provide Cressi Snorkel Gear. Check out Smith's Reef or Coral Gardens Reef. If you rent the boat the Captain will take you to some amazing reefs that you can only get to by boat. The water is so warm and clean and the marine life is plentiful. They provide two coolers so you can pack food and drinks. Top of the Cove Deli is in walking distance to Sweet Escape and they make great hot or cold sandwiches cut in half and wrapped to pack in your cooler. Call ahead and pick up on the way to the beach or boat. Katherine provides a Guide Book with infomration about the property, villa, and the island sharing detailed driving directions to her favorite places all over the island. She also shares what there is to do there, if there is a public washroom, beach bar, snorkelling, option to get picked up the b each to go Parasailing or on a 1/2 day snorkel excursion with Ocean Vibes TCI. Provo Golf Course is very challenging and I recommend booking an early tee time before it gets too hot. They have a deal for 9 holes or 18 holes a golf cart and breakfast or lunch with very nice rental clubs. It's a great deal. Everyone is very nice. They also have a tennis club. Pay as you go. If you like to work out at the gym on vacation check out Graceway Sports Centre OR Wrightfully fit.

Beautiful Villa on a beautiful island! It’s just like the pictures on the posting and located centrally. Working with Katherine and Josie was icing on the cake. Both were very informative and so nice to work with. They arranged for a boat rental with the very entertaining Captain JD. We like to avoid the restaurant wait and cook in so having fresh caught lobster 2 nights was great. The kitchen has everything we needed to enjoy many good meals. Nights on porch enjoying great conversation and good wine was perfect. All the extras that are available for beach days really added to the value of the villa.
