This Caribbean Guest Cottage features an Open Concept design with Queen Size Bed, Vaulted wood beam ceiling, and two patio door walkouts. One patio door leads to the screened in porch with separate entrance and outdoor relaxation. The other Patio Door leads to the barbecue/grill deck off the kitchen. The screened in porch has a view of Flowering Shrubs (Beauganvalie & Hibiscus), Palm Trees, Mahogany Trees & other Mature Trees to provide a shaded area to relax on the Hammick or put you feet up on the Ottoman while sitting in our South Beach Chairs in the garden.
The interior features vaulted caribbean wood beamed ceilings painted white, 12 x 12 Italian Porcelain Tiles throughout. Decorated by an interior designer for Optimum functionality. The Studio Bedroom has a Double Closet with a Queen Size Bed. We recently moved the half wall to the left 16" to make room on each side of the bed, to have a night stand. So it is no longer pushed against the half wall with the white shelving unit. We had the same tiles left over so it is finished to perfection. The TV Area has a Queen Sofa Bed, a book shelf, end table, ottoman and a 26' Flat Screen TV with cable tv and wi-fi. The Kitchen has white cabinets, gorgeous black, gold & silver granite countertop, undermount sink with a modern Moen Faucet with Sprayer, large fridge with freezer, stove with 4 burners, an oven & broiler, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, microwave, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, mugs and glasses.
The bathroom was renovated with wall to wall 8 x 16" White Ceramic Tiles from the floor to the ceiling. Then we added a 4" Cobalt Blue Accent Band horizontally around the room, through the shower and window sill. We installed "no slip" cobalt blue mini tiles on the floor of the shower. Easy to keep clean, bright and gorgeous.
White bath towels, hand towels, facecloths and High Quality White linens provided.
We also installed a new Screened In Porch System, new window screens and sliding screen doors.
Weber Spirit Barbecue with Cast Iron Skillet in the middle. Also propane tanks provided. There is also a full spare.
White Igloo Cooler, Fashionable Beach Towels for you to use on the property or in the rental car to the beach or just exploring. We recommend keeping you cooler full of water & gatorade at minimum, with a bag of ice, so you can keep hydrated all day long & save money. They sell 24 & 32 size water bottles at IGA & Gatorade in many different sizes. They also sell Beer, Coolers, Alcohol, Wine & Spirits at the IGA, just not on Sunday. I recommend the Wine Cellar Store in between the IGA and Sweet Escape for better prices on Beer, Alcohol, Wine & Spirits. There is also a TCI Island Brewery who make Turks Head Beer and sell it for approx $33 for a case of 24. They also sell Rum for approx $14 for a 26er. However, I prefer the local Bambarra Rum that they sell at the Wine Cellar & IGA. It has a really nice flavour and they use it to make the Island's Amazing Rum Cake. They have two different sizes and they make great gift idea's. You can purchase them at FOTTAC in the Regent Plaza, at the Wine Cellar or the Departure Lounge at the PLS Airport. They make an amazing Jerk Spice, West Indian Mustard & Guava Jam as well. They have a Gold Rum, Silver Rum, Reserve Rum & more.

My husband, 4 year old son and I stayed in the cottage for a week and had a wonderful time! Joselyn is very helpful and there if you need her. We love having a washer and dryer because it cuts down on the luggage we have to bring. The bed was comfortable. We cooked on the grill every day. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. We never felt unsafe, which was something I was concerned about. The house has a safe too. We also rented the Jeep and did a lot of exploring around the island. One of our favorites was Pirates Cove and Bonefish Beach (same location). Getting there took a long time but it was part of the adventure. We would definitely stay here again!
The amenities inside and out make it feel like a hotel/resort, but the privacy puts you on your own island! Recommend it to anyone.
We stayed at this property 3 times now, It is clean, spacious, has everything you need and is located close to everything. The host is wonderful and will make sure your stay in Providenciales is the best vacation you will ever have. We were welcomed with the islands favourite beer and rum punch even virgin punch for the kids! The best way to discover this island is to explore not stay on a resort, there are so many restaurants, beaches (we went to a different one each day) shops and you have the option of going to a resort for the day if you want. Being located on the canal gives you the option of using the many water toys at a fraction of the cost of those at the resorts. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the kitchen has everything you need the grocery store is just around the corner and being able to go to the fish fry on Thursday night was perfect. If you are thinking of travelling to the Turks and Caicos check to see if this property is available first!
No trip is without hiccups but it is not always about how it begins it's about how it ends. We had a few but they all worked out in the end.
With that said.....What a great week we had at this Villa. With all the extras this property offers it's a win win! We usually do all inclusive but the prices were way to high and visiting the island by renting a home allows you to REALLY enjoy the island. We brought food with us bought our other needs at the grocery store and toured this amazing island.
The island has recently had some bad PR and its too bad because this is the place to go and you can most certainly visit and make it an affordable trip. You just have to be creative to pull it off .
Although we never met Kate , Joselyn was a pleasure and was always a phone call away. I would suggest an alarm system if the bad Pr continues.
When we go back and we will it will be with this property owner. Thanks again for an eventful amazing week
As we drove up to Sweet Escape Villa & Guest Cottage the pictures on the internet came to life! The Property & Cottage are even better in Real Life. Of course, it is Paradise, the warm caribbean breeze just makes your body feel sooo healthy. There are beautiful mature Palm Trees, Tropical Trees, Flowering Beauganvalie & Hibiscus. The Cottage is very spacious & clean. The Caribbean Wood Beam Ceiling makes it feel bigger too, just loved the high ceilings & the ceramic tiles. The Bathroom has floor to ceiling 8 x 16 white bevelled ceramic tiles with a cobalt blue accent 1/2 way up the wall. They installed the small cobalt blue accent tiles onto the floor of the shower floor with a slip free surface. Perfect colour for a bathroom/shower combo. It has all new shiny silver faucets, shower head, taps & light fixtures, everything was sparkling clean. The Kitchen has a very nice black granite countertop with silver that sparkles in the light. It was well stocked with beautiful dishes, pots n pan, glasses, to-go travel mugs, plastic tupperware containers to help pack a lunch in the cooler provided. Katherine really thought of everything. There was a large assortment of spices, sea salt & pepper grinder, paper towel, napkins, sugar, coffee filters and we enjoyed a bag of Tim Horton's Coffee Beans Josie had left with a coffee grinder. There were also beautiful Guest Soaps, Shower Gel & Body Cream & a Blow Dryer. We used the Weber BBQ Grill alot. They sell amazing steaks at IGA and with the Montreal Steak Spice and a local Bambarra West Indian mustard we picked up at Fottac Store in Grace Bay. With a nice bottle of Red Wine from the Wine Cellar - they have a tasting bar and Jesus helped us choose the perfect wine - it is very close to the cottage. We took our dinner plates down to the dockside patio overlooking the canal. Oh my goodness, it is so beautiful. What a great place to dine & truly relax and enjoy paradise. Very private, romantic & peaceful. No distractions. Simply Amazing. We rented the Jeep and it was the perfect island vehicle. Josie showed us how to unhook the soft top over the vizor and hook it back up. It was so fun, we had such a great view. It is only 2 to 4 minutes to Grace Bay Beach where we snorkelled at Smith's Reef and in front of Somewhere Beach Cafe at Coral Gardens. All information Katherine provides in her brilliantly organized Guest Directory with driving directions to places. It made our trip so enjoyable! We did not want to leave, amazing!
